Job Overview: Emirates Engineering Driver

This role is central to the logistics and operational flow of the engineering department. Drivers are responsible for the seamless transport of documents, mail, and couriers between maintenance hangars, line maintenance areas, and central services.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be the “operational link” between different departments within the airport. Main duties include:

• Logistics: Collecting and delivering outbound documents, mail, and couriers to Engineering hangars and Line Maintenance.

• Operational Support: Moving vehicles between airside (runway/hangar areas) and landside maintenance zones.

• Safety: Strictly following airport ramp safety protocols and reporting any operational issues to supervisors.

• Timeliness: Ensuring all deliveries are made accurately and within strict deadlines to support aircraft maintenance schedules.

Requirements & Qualifications

Emirates is looking for candidates who are disciplined and capable of working in a high-pressure environment.

• Education: Minimum 8 years of schooling.

• Experience: Previous driving experience is preferred.

• Permits: Candidates must be eligible for/possess an Airport Driving Permit.

• Skills: Basic communication skills, time management, and the ability to work in noisy, heat-intensive airport environments.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to handle 12-hour shifts and occasional heavy lifting.
