Job Overview
As a DTP (Desktop Publishing) Operator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual layouts and managing various computer-based administrative tasks. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all printed and digital materials meet our professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Layout & Design: Create and format documents, brochures, flyers, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Malayalam & English Typing: Perform fast and accurate data entry and document preparation in both languages.
- Graphic Editing: Basic to intermediate photo editing and vector graphic adjustments.
- Client Management: Assist walk-in customers with their printing, scanning, and digital application needs.
- Quality Control: Review final proofs for errors in spelling, grammar, and layout before production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, CorelDRAW, or InDesign.
- Language Skills: Strong command over Malayalam and English (typing and basic grammar).
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience: Previous experience in a DTP center, printing press, or office administration is highly preferred.
