ബത്തേരി: പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയാവാത്ത കുട്ടിക്കെതിരെ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം നടത്തിയ കേസിൽ പാലക്കാട് ആലത്തൂര്‍ പുളിക്കൽ പറമ്പ് വീട്ടിൽ 52 കാരനായ പ്രദീപിനെയാണ് ബത്തേരി ഫാസ്റ്റ് ട്രാക്ക് കോടതി ജഡ്ജി ഹരിപ്രിയ പി. നമ്പ്യാർ ഏഴുവർഷം തടവും 6000 രൂപ പിഴയും വിധിച്ച് ശിക്ഷിച്ചത്.
2023 ഡിസംബറിൽ മീനങ്ങാടി പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത കേസിലാണ് ഈ വിധി. അന്നത്തെ മീനങ്ങാടി സബ് ഇന്‌സ്‌പെക്ടർ സി. രാംകുമാർ ആദ്യാന്വേഷണം നടത്തുകയും, എസ്.എം.എസ് ഡിവൈ.എസ്.പി പി.കെ. സന്തോഷ് കേസ് പൂർണമായും അന്വേഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
കേസിന്റെ പ്രോസിക്യൂഷനു വേണ്ടി സ്പെഷൽ പ്രോസിക്യൂട്ടർ അഡ്വ. ഓമന വർഗീസ് ഹാജരായി.
